Reflecting Dubai

About the award winning Reflecting Dubai Collection:

Using a hand held mirror in locations around Dubai the photographer Stefan Falke invites distant buildings, structures or other nearby scenes into the main photo to create a viewing experience that requires a second look. His goal is to visually loosen up the obvious, to create images that often surprise him as much as he hopes they will surprise and intrigue the viewer.

These photos and others from this series received the ASMP - Best of American Society of Media Photographers 2024 Award - category Personal Project series - 1st place jurors choice.

Paper: Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 325 gsm. The paper's surface is smooth with minimal visible texture and a silky light glossiness — clean and elegant. Each print has a small white border.
