Collection: Reflecting New York
About my award winning REFLECTING NEW YORK series:
Using a hand held mirror in locations around New York I invite distant buildings, structures or other nearby scenes into the main photo to create a viewing experience that requires a second look. His goal is to visually loosen up the obvious, to create images that often surprise him as much as he hopes they will surprise and intrigue the viewer.Â
My individually signed museum-quality inkjet prints are produced by Carl Saytor at Luxlab, one of New York's premier fine art printers. The lab's quality is outstanding  and professional packaging assures safe shipping (US only).
Paper: Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 325 gsm. The paper's surface is smooth with minimal visible texture and a silky light glossiness — clean and elegant. Each print has a small white border.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with each print. Larger custom print sizes (visualized in some of the mockups) are available !!Â
Photos from this series were published in WIRED magazine online (view here), chosen by American Photography, featured by LensCulture and received The Award of Excellence from Communication Arts for selfpublished books (view here) and received an Honorable Mention from IPA - International Photography Awards for selfpublished books.
